We are again making Ohio Veterans ID Cards for veterans living in Belmont County. Cards will be made by appointment only. As required by Ohio Law, we must have a copy of your DD214, a photo ID(Ohio Drivers license or Ohio ID card) and a current bill with your name and current address to issue the card. This card is for Belmont County veterans only. Like all our services, there is no charge for the ID Card.
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund has announced The Wall That Heals national tour schedule for 2026 and includes Belmont County. It is scheduled to be at the Belm
ont County Fairgrounds October 1-4. The Wall That Heals exhibit includes a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial along with a mobile Education Center. The traveling exhibit honors the more than three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed Forces in the Vietnam War, and it bears the names of the 58,281 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam.
